・ステークホルダーと連携し、ビジネスプラン目標達成へのギャップがある場合の対応
・事業部門に対する財務部門の窓口
・会計業務処理は海外のSharedチームが担当。また内部統制は事業部門コントローラーが管理
・会計または税務・財務問題の解決に責任は無いが、事業部門、外部当局、財務部門全体との間の連絡役
・FP&Aチームが年間事業計画と予測を作成。本ポジションは戦略目標・機会・リスクに関する方向性を示し、FP&Aチームが把握していない戦略的／戦術的イニシアチブへのインプットを提供
また事業計画／予測の妥当性について検証
・FP&Aが提供する財務報告書と解説を活用し、事業部門の業績をストーリーとして提示するとともに、事業部門に対して「ではどうするか」を提示する。
「ではどうするか」とは、財務結果を具体的な行動に転換する方法、すなわち成長目標やその他の戦略的目標を達成するために必要な措置を指す
・ストーリーテリング、商業的決定、事業ケース、M&A機会の支援、および事業部門のその他の機会とリスクの特定を目的としたアドホック分析
・契約をレビューし、価格設定を含む商業交渉に関する助言を提供

・Formulating and executing business plans
・Collaborating with stakeholders to address gaps in achieving business plan objectives
・Serving as the finance department's point of contact for business units
・Accounting operations handled by overseas Shared Services team. Internal controls managed by business unit controllers
・Not responsible for resolving accounting, tax or financial issues, but acts as liaison between business units, external authorities and the finance department as a whole
・The FP&A team prepares annual business plans and forecasts. This role provides direction on strategic objectives, opportunities, and risks, and inputs strategic/tactical initiatives not captured by the FP&A team.
It also validates the reasonableness of business plans/forecasts.
・Utilises financial reports and commentary provided by FP&A to present business unit performance as a narrative, while presenting the ‘What next?’ to business units.
‘What next?’ refers to translating financial outcomes into concrete actions – the measures required to achieve growth targets and other strategic objectives.
・Ad-hoc analysis to support storytelling, commercial decisions, business cases, M&A opportunities, and identifying other opportunities and risks for the business unit.
・Review contracts and provide advice on commercial negotiations, including pricing.
