We are looking for an experienced Data & Analytics leader to establish and lead a newly formed team in Japan.
This highly visible role will be responsible for building the foundation of data management and analytics capabilities, shaping the local data strategy, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, this role will define governance, processes, and analytics frameworks that support sustainable business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
・Define and execute the local Data & Analytics strategy in alignment with global and regional directions
・Establish governance for master data, enterprise reporting, and self-service analytics
・Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Data & Analytics team
・Promote a data-driven culture through training, community building, and best-practice sharing

Business Insights & Reporting
・Deliver actionable insights for stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
・Improve transparency and visibility of data assets and reports (e.g., catalogs, ownership models)
・Balance centralized reporting ownership with scalable self-service analytics

Data Governance & Process Design
・Design and document current and future-state Data & Analytics processes
・Create sustainable governance models for enterprise reporting and analytics
・Ensure processes are clearly documented and communicated across stakeholders

Data & Analytics Foundation
・Build robust foundations for data governance, quality, and integrationг data integration
・Apply best practices to ensure data reliability and integrity
・Develop advanced analytics capabilities to support strategic decision-making

・Extensive professional experience in data, analytics, or related domains (senior-level)
・Strong background in data governance, data quality, and data integration
・Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex initiatives
・Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders
・Proficiency in analytics and BI tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI or equivalent)
・Business-level fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English
