The Finance & Compliance Manager will report to the Country Head , and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The Finance & Compliance Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, controlling all financial-related activities (accounting, controlling, and ICS (internal control system) of the company as well as acting as business partner to the business. This will include direct responsibility for finance and accounting, budget and forecasts, strategic planning, and legal and compliance relations.
• Provide leadership and adequate organization of the Finance department.
• Responsible for accounting close and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting of the company in line with the guide-lines provided by Group Finance.
• Act as a compliance contact in global compliance organization, ensure compliance/data protection guidelines are trained locally and complied.
• Finance business partner to the local leadership team and organization, by providing insights and transparency as well as providing support in identifying measures to facilitate profitable growth
Qualifications:
・Accountant diploma or bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university. An MBA is a plus.
・English business fluent, both verbal and written.
Experience and Requirements:
・Minimum 5 years of accounting and financial controlling experience with multinational corporations (MNCs).
・JGAAP as well as IFRS/Swiss GAAP knowledge is required.
・Business partnering with local management.
・Operational knowledge (logistics, warehouse management) is a plus.
・A high level of commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills would be key to success in this role, including an understanding of the full value chain methodology.
・Knowledge of modern and complex principles and practices of accounting.
・Ability to identify and resolve complex problems with vendors, customers, and regulatory agencies.
・Knowledge of computerized financial reporting and management information systems.
・The ability to provide leadership, counsel, motivation, and constructive performance reviews.
