The ideal candidate will be a key contributor in the design and management of multi-asset and total portfolio solutions for a diverse set of institutional clients—such as defined benefit pension plans and endowments in Japan—while also supporting broader team initiatives across the Asia region.
-Develop multi-asset and other investment strategies tailored to client goals
-Conduct strategic asset allocation and risk analysis
-Continuously manage portfolios to ensure alignment with client objectives, constraints, and investment policies
-Support the execution of tactical asset allocation decisions
-Carry out independent research, analyze data, apply appropriate methodologies, and prepare written reports and investment proposals
-Deliver presentations to internal and client investment committees
-5-7+ years of relevant experience in investment roles, such as portfolio management or investment consulting (candidates with less experience may also be considered)
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or Statistics
-CFA Charter holder, Qualified Actuary, or actively pursuing these credentials
-Fluent in both English and Japanese for communication with global colleagues and diverse clients; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus
-Self-motivated and proactive in seeking knowledge, exploring new ideas, and contributing to team success
-Open-minded and willing to challenge oneself and others constructively
-Strong team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
