With extensive experience living and working across multiple countries in Europe and in Japan, he brings solid international and cross-cultural perspectives to leadership search and advisory, along with a strong passion for the industry and a high standard level of work. He has built a proven track record in identifying and securing strategic leadership talent for high-end brands in retail, fashion, beauty, and digital services, tailoring each search with a strong focus on the quality of the research process and the effectiveness of communication with both clients and candidates, ensuring it is aligned with market needs and cultural context. 

Originally from Italy, Mattia holds a graduate degree in Asian Studies and has completed master-level courses in International Marketing and International Relations. He is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and Japanese, which enables him to manage complex, multicultural searches and to source global talent. Before transitioning into recruitment in Japan, Mattia worked in luxury hospitality and as an in-house recruiter, providing bespoke support to clients in the fashion and retail sectors, experience that shaped his consultative approach with both clients and candidates. 

Outside of work, Mattia has a strong passion for travel, outdoor activities, and art, with a particular interest in culture and creativity.
