Role Overview

The Data Scientist will lead the design and implementation of advanced data science solutions using GenAI and Agentic AI technologies. This role focuses on creating non-trivial insights from structured and unstructured data combined with business domain knowledge. The individual will design LLM-based agency frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Autogen, CrewAI) and integrate them with conventional AI-driven business insights. The role also serves as an ambassador for GenAI / Agentic AI use across the organization, supporting field and brand teams and promoting best practices.

The position works autonomously with limited supervision and includes coaching, mentoring, and task management responsibilities for junior Data scientists.

Responsibilities
・Lead GenAI / Agentic AI proof-of-concept development and system implementation.
・Support business units in identifying and prioritizing key questions and designing quantitative analyses.
・Propose solutions to business challenges using GenAI / Agentic AI technologies.
・Design Agentic AI solution architectures (Profile, Memory, Planning, Action).
・Train collaborators on optimal use of data, platforms, and AI methods.
・Manage projects efficiently, ensuring schedule, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
・Discover cutting-edge AI technologies and contribute to research outputs (e.g., presentations, publications).
・Collaborate with internal functions, brand teams, and external vendors to accelerate AI adoption.
・Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, communicating results clearly and objectively.
・Mentor junior AI scientists and promote best practices across teams.

Mandatory:
・Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
・Minimum 5 years of project experience as a leader in machine learning or AI initiatives.
・Leading cross-functional AI/ML projects with communication across business and IT teams.
・Project and stakeholder management skills, including schedule and outcome quality control.
・Designing GenAI / Agentic AI architectures for complex business problems.
・Python development for Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Autogen, CrewAI, etc.).

Basic SQL skills for data extraction.
・Ability to document and communicate complex architectures to non-specialists.

Preferred / Nice-to-have:
・Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or quantitative discipline.
・Experience in pharma or consulting.
・Multi-person model development using CI/CD (GitHub, CodeCommit, etc.).
・Front-end application development experience.
・Strong communication, logical thinking, and ability to absorb cutting-edge methods.

Skills:
・Business understanding and ability to translate analysis into actionable insights.
・Explaining complex AI solutions to non-technical personnel.
・Prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects under limited resources.
