Job Description
Location: Central Tokyo
Work Style: Hybrid (Approx. 2 days WFH, flexible hours, no core time)
This is a key Talent Acquisition Manager position responsible for Japan hiring across new graduate, mid-career, and temporary staff populations.
The TA Manager leads end-to-end recruitment while partnering closely with global HR, business leaders, and regional project teams.
You will also supervise one team member.
The company is preparing for increased hiring next year and is looking for someone who can bring structure, forward-thinking planning, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
• Lead mid-career and new graduate hiring across Japan
• Manage internship recruitment and related programs
• Partner with global HR on hiring strategy, guidelines, and reporting
• Drive recruiting events, employer branding, and campus engagement
• Manage temporary staff hiring and relationships with agencies
• Oversee recruitment planning, coordination, and progress management for the TA team
HR Project Work
• Work closely with global TA on process improvements and upcoming HR tech initiatives, including potential AI-based hiring tools
• Maintain strong communication with global and regional HR stakeholders
• Participate in global and regional TA projects as a Japan representative
Business Partnership
• Collaborate with managers and HR colleagues to understand hiring needs and challenges
• Provide insights on market trends, process improvement, and candidate experience
• Support the business through timely and high-quality talent delivery
