Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Lead the entire HR function, covering talent acquisition, development, succession planning, compensation, retention, L&D, DEI, and organizational culture

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership with strong insight into people strategy, workforce planning, and commercial impact

Build and implement a locally competitive rewards framework that supports performance, engagement, and market positioning

Champion an inclusive, compassionate, and high-performance culture across all levels

Drive organizational change, including process modernization, HR technology adoption, and systems transformation

Collaborate closely with global and regional HQs to execute strategic HR initiatives

Ensure full compliance with Japanese labor law and maintain strong HR governance

Serve as a coach and cultural ambassador within the leadership team

Ideal Candidate

5+ years in a senior HR leadership role (HR Director / Head of HR / Director of People & Culture)

Experience supporting large-scale, complex organizations (300+ employees)

Strong knowledge of Japanese labor legislation and compliance requirements

Experience leading change management, organizational transformation, or HR system implementations

Strong communication abilities in both Japanese and English

Leadership style that blends empathy, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder influence
