Job Description

In this role, your mission would include

* Collaboration with the local distribution partner to gain a better understanding of the current and potential business
* Open and develop new channel opportunities within the Japan market
* Execute marketing research to help identify new market opportunities and weaknesses
* Compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the brand, volume and channel development
* Network with the key stakeholders across the business including internal, distributor and the local trade
* Contribute to the overall success of the company on a global scale through events, sharing best practices and insights.

As this is a true startup, they need someone who is ambitious, adaptable and comfortable to work independently. They already have a successful product in Japan, and are now looking for someone with industry experience and know-how to help them structure further growth.

Requirements

* Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the International Spirits industry.
* Self-starter, with excellent inter-personal skills and highly motivated to work both within a team but often in isolation.
* Strong negotiating skills, to bring channel / Key Account opportunities to fruition, across both the on & off premise (including e-Commerce).
* Solid history of data-driven strategic development and analysis. Analytical thinker: the story behind the numbers.
* Fluent Japanese ad Business Level English
