Job Description

Develop and execute communications strategies to enhance corporate reputation and deliver measurable impact, collaborating with branding and regional communications teams.
Cultivate media exposure for executives to establish thought leadership on eye health and strengthen presence with various audiences.
Lead financial communications in media, working closely with Investor Relations for quarterly earnings presentations.
Manage risk and issues communications to mitigate reputational risks and manage audience expectations.
Drive organizational communications, coordinating with corporate functions for change management and transformation narrative.
Develop and communicate policies and SOPs for proper communication governance and enhance organizational capability.
Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and Corporate Officers, supporting their communication efforts.
Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders, fostering cross-functional partnerships.
Develop internal communications strategy around key corporate messages to build a strong corporate culture.
Ensure timely internal announcements and execution of town halls and events.
Enhance corporate presence on LinkedIn through media exposure and corporate stories.

Manage corporate communications materials, including press releases, presentations, scripts, and social posts.
Build relationships with business, trade, and pharmaceutical media in key regions.
Partner with agencies to advance global communications initiatives.
Coach and mentor communications department staff.
Manage and update budgets for internal and external communications.

Requirements

Academic Background:

University degree in business, communications, or journalism; master’s degree a plus.
Communications Background:

Minimum 15 years’ experience in external communication, including executive communications, media relations, financial communications, and reputation building for a multinational company.
Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience.
Experience in internal communications, PR agency management, and working at a multinational company's headquarters.
