Kohei is a member of the X-Tech team, focusing on mid to senior executive level searches within the energy, datacenter, and industrial sectors. He has been in the recruitment industry since 2018, and has built a strong network of connections in renewable energy, EPC, major general contractors, data centers, and consulting firms.

Kohei has previous experience managing the Energy team at a bilingual recruitment firm, as well as a director of the search business at a start-up boutique recruitment agency. He is an accomplished recruiter, having received multiple “MVP” awards for both individual and team performance. Kohei has held responsibility for leading a 200-headcount retained project, as well as establishing and scaling up internal teams.

Prior to entering the recruitment industry, Kohei worked at a trading company for 3 years. Working in the Philippines and UAE, he was responsible for business development in the respective local markets.

In his free time, Kohei enjoys sports and competing in bodybuilding competition. He is fully bilingual in Japanese and English.
